“Kyrgyzstan Islamic University Successfully Underwent Accreditation of the 531600 Theology Program”

On May 20–21, 2026, the 531600 “Theology” program of Kyrgyzstan Islamic University.successfully underwent the external accreditation procedure conducted by ААОPО. As part of the accreditation visit, the expert commission carried out a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of the educational program, teaching and methodological support, academic staff potential, scientific activities, material and technical resources, and the university’s internal quality assurance system. During the visit, the experts became acquainted with the university’s activities, visited classrooms, the library, and electronic educational resources, and held meetings with the university administration, faculty members, students, graduates, and employers. Special attention was given to the content of the “Theology” educational program, its compliance with modern higher education standards, the integration of traditional Islamic knowledge with modern educational technologies, as well as the training of highly qualified specialists possessing spiritual and moral values, professional competencies, and civic responsibility. The accreditation procedure became an important milestone in the development of the 531600 “Theology” program and reaffirmed the commitment of Kyrgyzstan Islamic University to continuous improvement of educational quality, enhancement of scientific potential, and strengthening of the university’s academic reputation.
