At the Kyrgyzstan Islamic University, a Qur’an recitation competition titled “Quran-Nur” was held in honor of the bright memory of the renowned religious scholar and teacher Imamali Kari Tazhibaev. The main purpose of the event was to promote Qur’anic knowledge, strengthen young people’s love for the Holy Qur’an, and commemorate the late scholar’s significant contribution to religious education and spirituality. Students of the university actively participated in the competition, demonstrating their skills in beautiful and correct recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Participants were evaluated based on their adherence to Tajweed rules, voice quality, and recitation mastery. The event was held in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Guests and participants listened to valuable speeches about the importance of the Qur’an, the value of knowledge, and moral education in human life. Memories were also shared about Imamali Kari Tazhibaev’s life journey and his contribution to Islamic education and the upbringing of the younger generation. At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas, memorable gifts, and special prizes, while all participants received words of appreciation. Such spiritual and educational events greatly contribute to strengthening moral values, developing religious knowledge, and inspiring young people toward spirituality and good character.
