A scientific and methodological seminar titled “Main Trends in Higher Education Development in Kyrgyzstan” was held at the Kyrgyzstan Islamic University for the university’s teaching staff. 🎤 The seminar was delivered by Gulzat Erkinbaevna Sadykova, Vice-Rector for the State Language and Scientific Affairs, Candidate of Cultural Studies, Associate Professor. The main purpose of the seminar was to familiarize faculty members with current changes in the higher education system, discuss modern approaches to quality assurance in education, and support the professional development of academic staff. During the seminar, participants discussed current trends in higher education development in the Kyrgyz Republic, quality assurance mechanisms, accreditation processes, the implementation of digital educational technologies, student-centered learning, the development of research activities, and international cooperation. Special attention was paid to increasing the competitiveness of universities, promoting academic mobility, applying innovative teaching methods, and integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process. The seminar was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to actively ask questions, exchange opinions, and share professional experiences. Faculty members emphasized the relevance and practical importance of the topics discussed and highlighted the need for organizing such scientific and methodological events on a regular basis.
