A ceremonial event dedicated to International Students’ Day was held at Kyrgyzstan Islamic University (KIU). The event was attended by the university rector and religious scholar Abdishukur Azhy Narmatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Matraimov Abduvasi Nusurovich, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Bakyt Nyyazov, as well as faculty members and students of the university. During the event, the rector delivered an informative lecture on the topic “The Role of Science and Education in Islam and in Human Life.” In his speech, he emphasized the importance of knowledge, moral and spiritual upbringing, the pursuit of education, and the responsibility of young people toward society. He also shared valuable advice, guidance, and words of encouragement with the students. The celebration was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The program included various cultural and educational activities aimed at strengthening spiritual values, unity, and active student life. At the end of the ceremony, students who won prize places in the Qur’an recitation competition and sports tournaments were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts. The university administration congratulated the winners and wished them continued success in their studies, sports, and social activities.
